Visual understands that being environmentally responsible is important for everyone’s overall well being as well as the preservation of our natural resources for future generations. This is why Visual uses eco-friendly materials in the production of our new components.
Materials/ Processes
- plywood (either approved by the Forest Stewardship Council [FSC] or eco-friendly materials such as plywood bamboo or recomposed solutions)
- VCI adhesion bonding fabrication process uses Green Labeled contact cements made with no Ozone Depleting Substances
- 100% recycled laminates
- water based Acrylic finishes, low VOC or non-toxic zero VOC paint finishes
- low energy consumption LED lighting, and low energy compact fluorescents
- sustainable flooring made from renewable, natural resources (i.e. bio carpet, etc.)
- recycled plastics made from up to 75% pre-consumer reclaimed acrylics
- soy based printing inks for graphic applications
- aluminum components made from up to 70% recycled aluminum
- shipping options that allow for the purchase of carbon-offset credits
